I have never had this aggression problem with my convicts I bought them as small fry & now mostly fully grown however another one of my cichlids did have tail ripped when first introduced & now it's fully grown back

I just convict baby in my tank not sure how many there are yet do they need any special care? Any suggestion they are free swimming with other cichlids they are to small to get a dissent picture

That looks like the perfect habit for cichlids how they get on with the sand? I use gravel

Is this a new fish or have u had it for a while ? I have a yellow lab he eats flakes & liked sinking food it for cat fish it like a pellet
