I wouldn't do that! He has been weened off live foods in his first week and I was told now there would be no trouble from different sources! If there is one incident he is out, however that means something bad happened, but my judgment is that it won't.

Hey guys I have a quick question. I just purchased a 4 stage SpectraPure 4 Stage RO/DI unit and it worked great the first time (also on a side note should there be a lot more waste water than good water?). Now there is still water coming out the "good water tube" however there is no pressure...
Hi guys, I'm looking into getting a protien skimmer and I'm a little confused. First off I have a 55 gallon tank with LR & LS. It has 6 Fish a few shrimp, snails and an arrow crab. I was wondering if I need a sump to use a protien skimmer or If I could use one just on the tank. After reading I'm...
I have a marineland Bio-wheel + Power Filter Emperor 400 running on my 55 gallon tank. The tank is recently cycled and is a little more than 4 weeks old. My question is when should I change the filter. It says on the instructions every 2 - 4 weeks, however, I have read that most of the...
Well I kind of want algae so then I can have the stuff in there to fix it. But maybe that isn't the best idea. I used some ro/di water (about 27 gallons) but the other half was tap that was de-chlorinated using DeCHLOR. My lights are on about 8 hours (I have a SolarmaxH.O. High output double t5...

Hey guys I am starting to think I moved a little fast with adding fish. I haven't really observed anything that makes me think the fish are stressed or I added them too early but I have read about people waiting months before adding fish. I have a yellow tail damsel, 2 clarkii clowns and a royal...
I am starting to have an algae problem in my 55g FOWL tank. Its a little more than two weeks old and I have enlisted 10 Astrea snails to help obviously not enough but I did not want to overload the tank. So I have this scrubber for my fish tank witch is basically a sponge on a stick that I let...
Ok thanks guys that would make a little more scene. It does seem to happen after feeding time some times but maybe its just poop and I'm to far away to see what end its coming out of haha. Thanks again everyone!
Hey guys my tank is about 2 weeks old and I started with live rock/sand so my tank does have low enough ammonia and nitride levels to add fish (I also added biozyme which really seemed to speed things along). So i decided to add 2 clarkii clowns and a royal gramma to the excising 2 damsels (had...
