I rescued a Oscar that is about 8 in long from a 10 gal tank...he has hole in the head..I have him in my 10 gal hospital tank and I am treating him with Metrodizole is this all I can do? I don't want to put him in with my Oscar in th 90 gal ...yet....

I have a just a 404 on a 90 and my tank is crystal clear all the time .. try doing a big water change and use a platic lid to dump the water on as your filling it so the water don't stir anything up at all I also let the water run over my hand before it even gets to the lid so it spreads out .
