One of my female cichlids seems to be sick. For the past couple days she hasn't been eating and she constantly stays towards the top of the water breathing heavily. I checked to see if she was holding but her mouths empty. All the other cichlids in the tank are great. Please help This is what...

I'm not sure if she's just a normal yellow lab. Only reason I ask is because she's so pale and her colors are dull but bright at the same time. Kind of hard to explain hopefully the pictures help. Thanks guys

Are the long white strains roots? If so why are they growing there?
