how would a aquaclear 30 do for an hob filter ......and what should i put in the hob like chempure or purgen ??? also how do i get bacteria in it withought a mini cycle or can that even happen with a bare tank ??

so my tank had ich so i went fishless for 8 weeks and now when i get fish i want to make sure i dont have to do that all over again soooooo.... i was thinking about a 10 gal from pestmart but dont know what type of cheap filter i should get >>> and do i need a light ??? any ideas ??

i have a question for everyone how long do you leave your lights on for ??? im running 8 hours a day with little to no algea on the glass .... i hear on these forums that people run it 10 hours a day....should i be doing longer??

ive moved it a couple of times to both low flow parts of my tank .....i could try to shut off one of the returns so only one 1200 is running > what do you guys think??

ok so i picked up a 5 head frogspawn on saterday .....i drip acclimated it and the first two days it was almost fully extended but the last two days it has been almost fully closed up except for the smallest head ?? my water pars are perfect with calc at 430 and alk at 8 or 9 temp is 77.6...
