so i have a 28 jbj hqi and its about 2 or 3 months old and im starting to get some nice coraline (if thats how u spell it) but im noticing some almost neon green algea with it ....

what should i do about it because i want to nip it in the but before it becomes a problem???

im running the lights 8 hours a day .......i have a 14k pheonix in there right now .....

it will happen to every tank nothing is wrong but if it gets all over rocks it is problem, it normal for algea to grow on glass, sometimes mag float wont take off and u need a bladce to do it

ok cool it almost looks like the algea on glass but its on the rock and its not bad what so ever so i will watch it thanks

i have a question for everyone how long do you leave your lights on for ???

im running 8 hours a day with little to no algea on the glass ....

i hear on these forums that people run it 10 hours a day....should i be doing longer??
