Im lookin to breed snails for my dwarf puffer. I need to know what exactly is required as I would like the simplest setup possible.

I angelfish, 1 GBR, 2 panda platy's, 2 red tail dalmation platy's, 1 bumble bee platy, 6 black phantom tetras, 3 spotted cories, 1 clown Pleco, and 2 nerite snails.

This is my new setup with a tank I got for free on craigslist. I came with the large peice of driftwood also. How cool is that?

Ok good. This makes me feel much better. I only have one of each so I'm not worried about spawning or anything.

My water has a ph of 8 and I was wondering if there are any natural (non chemical) ways of lowering it. I wouldn't mind so much but I have an angel and a GBR.

I'm picking up a 38 gallon I found on craigslist today. It comes with a HOB filter and an undergravel filter. Is it even worth using the undergravel filter or will it just cause more problems?
