    Quick vac pro reviews

I was considering investing in a quick vac pro. I read some reviews and the majority were good. Of course, there will always be some unhappy customers out there... I just absolutely hate dragging the bucket in my room when I use my gravel vac because every time I have to listen to my mother...

    Betta with clear poop

I couldn't get my hands on any frozen daphnia... I've ordered some online but it's currently out of stock. I've been alternating frozen bloodworms and pellets skipping Saturday. She's been pooping normally, I was so excited! Until yesterday... Again with the clear poop :(

    Betta with clear poop

As you can see here, her poop starts out normal color then is pretty much clear. It gets stuck at this length. I will pull it out again tomorrow if I have to but she really does hate that net...

    Is my Betta Healthy?!

3 gallons with tetras in it? And a betta? Kinda seems like a tight fit to me... From what I've read most tetras like to have at least 10 gallons. And that betta would love to have the tank all to himself.. I don't want to be that guy who is always guaranteed to swoop in on a thread and scream...

    Betta with clear poop

Noticed last weekend when I came home to visit from school my betta had clear poop hanging from her (to be specific it wasn't white) my mom who feeds her while I'm at school told me it had been stuck for a day or two. I was able to scoop her up in a net and remove it no problem. Assuming it was...

    Tank for Betta

Even though your fish is a baby, she would be happier in something a little bit bigger. I have a smaller than the average size betta and she is super active. I started her out in a smaller tank and moved her up to a ten gallon. She's obviously happier in a bigger tank and constantly checking out...

    Large Ghost Shrimp With Betta

Possibly. I got two GS for my betta. He ate one in the first week, but the other was very good at hiding and survived two months before I took the betta out to put in a hospital tank. Edit: is that a 1.5 gallon? Little small for a betta to have a tank mate and ghost shrimp prefer to be kept with...

    Question about betta behavior

Bettas are very good jumpers. I just had one pass away because he managed to jump out though the crack between the lid and the filter. It's highly suggested to get something to cover up the top of tank. Even if its just a clear piece of plastic or something you can take off to feed him.

    My Betta doesn't flare.

Every betta is different. Some flare so much that they split their fins and some flare very little. If his color is good, he's not sick, he gets along with his tank mates, hes active, and there is no sign that he is getting bullied, I wouldn't be worried. Flaring is generally related with fear...

    Serious fin rot!!! Emergency!!!!!

Thanks Alyxx. Ha I knew they were good jumpers but I had no idea they could fit through holes tinier than the fish itself!! Live and learn though. I'm going home tomorrow and plugging up every single hole in my other tank no matter how small!

    Serious fin rot!!! Emergency!!!!!

Unfortunately, I came back from classes today and found my fish on my desk this afternoon. I quickly put him back in the tank and he swam around for a bit, but when I came back from class tonight he had died :( I have a lid on the tank and Im completely baffled as to how he might have gotten out.
