I would leave the guppies. I have read that they tend to be better parents if there is something they feel they have to protect their eggs and fry from. If there is no threat they will likely eat them faster

Thank you. We will miss the little guy. Does anyone know what the chances are of our female pairing up of we decide to get another male? I don't want her to be miserable without a mate

I think the dragon fish are brackish. I wanted one too but I don't have a big enough tank. They are so cool!

I don't know. He has been laying on his side for two days. Swimming aimlessly. I just removed him and put him in a 1 gallon tank with the other tank water, some salt, and an air stone. So far he is still laying on his side but he is breathing and moving his fins.

I finally found him. Completely under the driftwood wedged in a knot and surprisingly he is still alive. I can't believe it.

My male GBR was looking terrible yesterday. Basically I was just waiting to come home and find him dead. Problem is now I can't find him at all. The tank has another GBR female, 2 platys, 5 male guppies and a snail. Could any of them eaten him?? I have moved all of the caves and driftwood...

I did the salt and heat method for two weeks and then it came back within a few days so I would be careful. Just saying

Our poor little Eric started showing signs of ich again yesterday along with one of the guppies I rescued. I removed them both and gave them a salt bath. I built two slate caves for my tank. I ordered slate on eBay rather cheap and used silicone. My GBRs have decided that on of them is theirs and that is where they lay their eggs

I turned the lights in a bit earlier than normal and both of my GBRs were asleep on top of an ADF and they are all still acting extremely sleepy. Lol but hey I have to be up!

I had two angels in with our betta and he was not happy about it. They did not get along well at all. I took the angels to a friends 55 gallon and they are much happier now. But I would say it all depends on the temperament of the betta. They are all different
