i feed mine blanced cucumbers and other veggies and he is thriving it has easilt doubled in lenght in the last month or so

I used washed sand in one of my tanks which is basically the same as play sand i just let it settle and then turned my filter on no problems so far (it has been about a week) and my fish don't stir up the sand enough to get it into the filter but i keep the intake about 4 inches from the bottom

yeah i've been checking them out i do really want an aro or maybe a few not 100% sure yet, i still got a bit of work to do before its reasy, i will be testing to see if it will hold water this weekend, i just did a re-seal on it so heres to hoping!!

they aren't too bad i paid 40 bucks for one tht is 25 feet long and considering the time u save it is a very good investment

good luck gettin a 4 foot tank thru the door my tank is about 3 and a half or so with the trim and everything that goes around it and i have to completely take off one of the sliding glass doors on the house to get it thru

I breed my own feeders, convicts work very well for this

I am workin on gettin my 518 Gallon tank up and running it is 7 feet long 3 foot 4 wide and 3 feet tall, i just finished re-sealing it addin an overflow for my diy wet/dry, and am pickin up an fx5 from a guy about 45 minutes from here, all i have left is to build a hood, and pretty up the stand...

well thats no problem i live right by the ocean and could pick them up live if i wanted from the docks, and it has all sorts of pumps and filters and stuff like that of a pool, so i dunno we will see what i do, it has a piece of steel for the bottom of the tank that is super rusty so i am gunna...

I will need some equip to cycle the tank tho no???? i don't know what it comes with i will post what all i got in a couple hours

Yea i'm also considerin turnin it into a freswater tank at least for a lil while till i can afford all the stuff i would need for a saltwater tank

i can put in anywhere i want in my house really it one story concrete slab, so weight is no issue, i can build a stand for it if it doesn't come with one which is no prob, i build houses for a living a tank stand is no prob, and i will find out what type of filtration and stuff it has tomorrow...

I might be pickin up a 400 gallon saltwater tank tomorrow, it's free but the lady is not sure if all the pumps and stuff work, and it needs to be re sealed and the bottom apparently needs to be rebuilt, i haven't seen it yet so i'm not entirely sure what it comes with, she picked it up at the...
