Hey guys my LFS just go some Nerite snails and said they would be good for planted tanks. I have seen some articles online, but most are silent concerning their compatibility with plants. Are these good for planted tanks or will they destroy everything?

Hey guys I am just starting my first planted tank. I have been a little overwhelmed by the amount of specifications on the lights required. I just wanted to make sure these lights were ok for a 6 gallon tank? i bought them at Loews and plan on putting them in a normal desk lamp.
