OK Lights???

Hey guys I am just starting my first planted tank. I have been a little overwhelmed by the amount of specifications on the lights required. I just wanted to make sure these lights were ok for a 6 gallon tank? i bought them at Loews and plan on putting them in a normal desk lamp.

They should be fine. Both of them might be a bit much for a 6g though, if that's what you have in mind.
