I've been looking it does open up alot of possibilites. My water temp is like 20 degrees at the moment only really need to get it up to 24 or 5 for most tropical?

Or would it need to be in the main part of the tank?

I have cycled. Contemplating getting a heater. Not really sure where I'd put it in my tank? My tank has like a front main bit, then a black wall with three sections, one houses the filter pump, one houses the filter and filter media. And the other is empty. Would the heater go on there?

You have talked to me, but I was just seeing other people's opinions. Guy in lfs suggested a small schooling fish such as celestial pearl danios. A group of 6 with my 2 platy :)

I have a 27 litre tank. And wanted some realistic suggestions on what to stock with my 2 female variatus platy. It is a filtered tank, and is being kept as coldwater/temperate. Around 20 C/ 68f. Any help would be much appreciated.

This ones made by love fish. It was 45 GBP. The filter is all enclosed in the back so you can't see it at all. And then it has a glass lid as well. And a clip on blue led light.

No it doesn't its just glass so yes I'd assume rimless would describe it :) not with the tank at the moment.

That's the tank, I'm not really sure what you mean by rimless. The guy in the FS said it had a good filter. I wanted to get a good filter as its a small tank I know it can be hard to keep the water balance right.

Sorry I don't know much about filters! I'm a beginner. This is the first tank of my own. But ie done far too much reading haha

It's like a built in one with the tank, takes a coarse sponge and a fine sponge, that carbon stuff and that ceramic stuff in net bags.
