I didn't think about the molting part. But I can't tell for sure. I got home and saw tentacles sticking out of the mushroom. I could only find 3 out of the 5 shrimps I have in my tank. So that was my first reaction. I had never heard or seen this before. Wasn't sure what to think.
My mushroom ate my peppermint shrimp and I think it has eaten more than this one. I didn't know this was possible. How do I stop it from happening in the future?
I have for sale this beautiful Rhinopias. I haven't been able to find another one. Very rare
I've got to get rid of it sadly. Eats chromis and silversides. Very healthy.
Make me a reasonable offer.
Yes it's an amazing fish. Part of the scorpionfish family. Sadly need to let this one go. If you know anyone interested. Was going to post on classifieds but the app won't allow me to.
Yes I am trying to get rid of the aiptasia. I have a wrasse in my tank that I'm trying to get rid of. Hard to catch. And then I'm getting some nudibranch for the aiptasia.
So this stuff is algae and I don't have to worry about it? Pick off pieces whenever I do a water change.
Tank has been set up for about 2 years. Lights are only 6 months or less old. Running 4 33in 39w bulbs 2 blues, 1 white and 1 red with an aquatic life programmable hood. My parameters are perfect except my alkalinity which was at 6.
