A friend of mine says this fish is a freshwater but has no other info on it. Does anyone else have a clue on what kind of fish this may be. Thank you for looking.

Does anyone have experience with the Redfin Prochilodus? I was looking to get some when I can find them at one of the local fish stores.

I am not sure about that one. I don't have a phosphate test. I just have the API freshwater master kit.

What's causes an algae bloom.

The biggest one is only good up too 100 gal.

I have no experience with uv sterilizers I have a general knowledge of what they do but what do I need or go about hooking one up to the tank. I have 2 HOB filters along with a Hydor Koralia Evolution 1400 Pump.

And also some MTS to stir the sand.
