Hello! I've had my 10g up and running since June all that's in there now is a clownfish coral and a scarlet hermit crab. They've been in there for 2and half months and I was wondering if I could add a firefish as well? Thanks for the help

In some spots on my live rock it's getting darker. Is it algae? It's a dark brown color.

Do sw fish need lights on for a certain amount of time? And water flow other than the filter? Or is this just for coral? Thanks

Okay thanks. For lighting I have the odyssea. My salt levels keep measuring at 1.016. And Then added more salt but it stays the same. Could the salt not have been mixed through enough? Sorry for the newbie questions

Do I need a protein skimmer or air pump? An will i need something that creates water flow for any coral I plan on adding?

So I just added live sand/ rock today and when my water started clearing up I noticed this guy. Idk what he is, but I was hoping someone would know whether or not he's good or bad for the tank and if I should keep him? He's kinda creeping me out haha thanks in advance

For some reason my fluval filter won't turn on and i don't know why. I used to use it for my old tank and havnt use it for a year and now it won't work anymore. Any idea why? Do I have to buy a special filter for sw? Thanks for the help

Yes I was planning on doing corals also. But Im having a filter problem. I plugged on my filter and it just doesn't start any idea as why?
