They are on the glass when I see them at night. They look somewhat like a conch to me. At the thick end of the shell they have a ring of pointy teeth like structures on the shell.

I seem to have had a sudden outburst of these little guys. The are a snail of some sort but not sure which one and if they are good or bad. Any advice?

This I am aware of he will be upgraded to a 180g when he gets a little larger. The fish is approximately an inch and a half long at the moment and is in the biocube as a quarantine. Water changes are done weekly and he eats like a pig (nori, mysis, plankton, vitamin enriched brine, and pellets)...

My juvenile maculosus angelfish has what appears to be a fungus growing on its right pectoral fin. It is only on the end of the fun and is white in color and looks a sort of fuzzy. Am I correct in assuming that this is a fungus? Also I have a cleaner shrimp in the tank with him but am wondering...

Yes it's aptasia. It is a nuisance in the aquarium and will take over. It can sting your tanks inhabitants causing damage and is IMO unsightly. To get rid of them you could purchase one of the commercially available control products, or you can use a hypodermic needle and syringe to inject lemon...

Crisis averted!!!! The sailfin and purple tussled a little at first but now they seem to be best buddies and the purple I leaving everything else alone!!!! Yay !!!!!!!!
