Your aquarium shouldn't go through the floor if you put it on an exterior wall. The stand just tell your furniture maker to make the stand, and express the weight that the stand is going to be holding. Get a good filter and you'll be fine.

Pour some vinager on the rocks, if the vinager bubbles the rocks are unsafe. Also make sure you scrub the rocks off pretty well.
