I have a an orange Molly that has this huge bump on his head but she's had it for a few months and has been swimming fine and eating fine wht should I do?

I have noticed that one of my orange Molly has a weird pimple thing on his scale what is it and how do I treat it? My water is good quality And she's eating like normal any advice?

Currently have a 20gallon well cycled tank. I've had it going for about a year. It's such a healthy tank with lots of live plants. I do want to upgrade the tank. Is there any hints when upgrading?? I really want to keep the water in great condition any hints will help!!!!!!

If it is in fact dropsy I'm sorry it's pretty sure she won't make it. I myself am a very hopeful person so I know I would keep her and make her as comfortable as possible and hope she makes it. But I would prepare for the worst:( sorry!

The good thing is that dropsy isn't contagious, I do not think you will have to worry about her babies just keep clean water and keep an eye on them.

A picture would be nice to see. From your description is sounds like your platy is pineconing. Unfortunately that is a sign of dropsy and there is no cure for that:( I am so sorry!!

My betta doesn't swim around his 10gallon tank. He just stays in one place? Any reason why is he sick? He doesn't have and fungus and is eating good no other symptoms just now swimming around unless he sees me and comes up to say hi.

Thank you both so much!!!!!!!!! She is not wanting to eat the pea so I will fast get for a few days and give her very little food. How much food should I at start give her??
