Your tank looks like it might need to be cleaned.

I'm a big cichlid guy and the best looking fish in my tank is my Lwanda. It's hard to pick just one but he stands out from the rest.

What kind of thermometer do you have. I've had almost the same thing happen to me but the other way. My digital thermometer was reading 73-75 degrees, so I thought my heater was bad so I bought a new one at $35.00 to find out that it was a bad thermometer. Just a thought.

When filling your tanks do you get the water temp as close as you can to the tank water, or do you just fill her back up and turn your heater back on. Sorry for all the questions.

I have a few favorites in my tank. #1 in my tank is my Eureka Red. #2 fish in my tank is my Lwanda. #3 is a toss up between my Blue Dorsel Flavescent or my Sunshine. All these guys are peacocks.
