    Disease wiping out tank

Hi all, I'm going to get straight to the point here: A few months ago my dwarf gourami started laying on its side. It done this more frequently over a couple of days until It no longer swam. Then it died. Then my firemouth cichlid, crayfish, 2 swordtails, honey gourami and tetras died...

    Oscar, Eel and Crayfish

I have researched the compatibility between oscars, zig-zag eels and crayfish quite extensively and have found a lot of conflicting opinions. Firstly, I researched the compatibility between oscars and zig zag eel, and found conflicting opinions - but I tried it and everything is fine -- if...

    rosy tetra dying

hi, just 10 minutes ago I noticed one of my rosy tetras swimming upside down (more floating but still breathing) in my tank (it looks like swim bladder to me), so we took it out and put it in a tiny container so it doesnt need to fight against the current, and although it still looks hurt it is...

Thanks for your comments guys, firstly I already have a bala shark and if possible I wouldnt like to rehome it. Secondly, I already have the firemouths and the bgkf, and the firemouths stay clear of it (the bgkf is 10" near enough). As for an oscar with bgkf, I will be getting a small oscar so...
