To have the skimmer work more effectively. It doesn't skim effectively with these two vents open for water to flow through. I do not use the sponge. I use filter floss.

Can anybody give me some suggestions on blocking the two lower vents in the 12 Aqua? Better to block from the front or back? Underwater putty, just fill in the slots? Acrylic covering glued? Thank you in advance.

For those that use a heater in their Aquapod or JBJ Nano tank. Where are you placing your heater. In or outside the chamber???

I am going to replace the stock pump in my Aquapod 24 with the Maxijet 900. When I do the swap, the out take outlet on Maxijet pump is smaller the the stock pump out take outlet. Which makes the the tubing supplied with the Aquapod too big a fit over outlet. Should I just buy a small clamp to...
