    55g Iwagumi

Would it still be considered Iwagumi? I will be trading fish tanks with my brother soon 45g for his 55 and I was wondering what it would take to scape it Iwagumi style. Does anyone have any good sources or rocks? Will the typical Iwagumi plants be feasible for a larger tank? I do not want to...

    HELP!! Milk in FW aquarium

It was a fully grown Dempsey, a few smaller (but still big) ones, and a 9 inch Pleco that all died. He had had all of them since they were small so needless to say I was in deep trouble... And the tank was much more secure from then on :D

    Good saltwater resources

Up until now I have been a strictly planted tank kind of guy, but I am thinking about starting a nano saltwater tank. Before I go asking a bunch of questions I just want to know of good reads that can get me knowing the basics of what I will need.

    Dry fert help

I am looking into dry ferts for my high light and co2 injected 45g planted tank. I will most likely be going with green leaf aquarium ferts but I have a few questions first. I see they sell some ferts that are not in their fert package, are any of these required/better? If so why/how? Is it...

Anyone from Philly or Penn State area?

Which pets plus is that? I get annoyed by all their mixed breeds with confusing names :D and depending in the store their labels can be quite off... On a side note, any opinions of the q-mart pet store? Saw some interesting fish there (all in ten gallons) and got some cories I have never heard...

Anyone from Philly or Penn State area?

Nope, that would be pets plus "naturals". They have a good amount of monster fish but are kind of overpriced..

    Soaking flourite

Would there be any benefit in soaking new fluorite in enough water to cover it mixed with a high concentration of fertilizer? Would it absorb anything? And if so would it all release as soon as you flooded the tank?

    Flourite/Laterite Questions

Have a few questions in regard to flourite and laterite. Is it best to leave the laterite on the bottom or mix it into the laterite? Would there be any benefit to letting the substrate sit in shallow water and multiple doses of ferts? How light(weight) is the flourite? Will it settle quicker...
