Okay, this is my first breeding pair of rams ever..
I breed discus normally and at best they will breed every 3-4 weeks, this new pair of rams are attempting every week in a 20 gallon planted.
last attempt 9 days ago.. tonight they layed a new batch in the same place... last batch got eaten...

My yellow shows promise for another yellow i aquired at a local show. far more hardy than is parents.
Also shows promise but looking to maybe cross this cobalt with a diamond.
These 2 are ones from my breeding pairs i decided to keep, the rest...
I try not to buy things from petsmart as they salenify all tank water.. (kills plants).
I just wasnt sure if this plant is or was being slowly adapted for full submersion.
Also, i noticed it carries the same traits as the common ferns you see at the nursery.
Alright, petsmart is selling these in sealed packages claiming they are aquatic. My research (i.e. google) says these are for terrariums and will die slowly underwater.
Did they hybrid this somehow or is it just another chain store screw up?
Btw, i have no intrest in buying them like theyare...

about a day ago my newly purchased german blue rams decided to pair off.. they both are from 2 sep LFS and paired off in 2days... (new for me)
Its a 20g cycled planted aquarium and as of yesterday they are the only occupants, The reason being that they layed eggs last night...
