    I'm missing something, pressurized co2

Everything Mfdrookie says is spot on, I used his threads and a few PMs to get my system going. It did take about a week of constant monitoring to get my system to be more care free, just check it and adjust. I am trying to say mine would produce bubbles then stop like you are experiencing, I...

Marineland LED Double Bright Aquarium Lighting System: Any good for plants?

I had the marineland reef ready version on my planted 46 gallon bow front. I pump CO2 and my plants grew like crazy with the exception of the baby tears and dwarf grass. I just replaced this LED system with a 4-light T5 fixture and the amount of light hitting the bottom of the tank is...

    I am addicted

Got my driftwood, rocks, and plants in now. Still waiting on my shipment of clown killfish, hopefully they come in this week. The tank is home to 1 angelfish, 6 swordtails, and some snails to date. The lounge chairs are for my wife and I to kick back and chill at the shore...

    Co2 question

I am not sure what the metric size was, since I could not find metric barbs it did not matter. The 5/8" hose fit onto the cannister connector so that is what I bought. My problem was that the 5/8" was to thick to bend into my tank for the return line. That is why I tried using the original hose...

    Moss balls

I was browsing the forums trying to think of a reason to go the my lfs today. Now I have one... Those moss balls look cool, think I am going to have to find a couple for my tank.

    Co2 question

I built the same type reactor for my Fluval 305. I could not find metric barbs so I bought a hose with an inner diameter 5/8" and only had to use it from the cannister output to the reactor input. It fit tightly enough on the cannister connection and the screw tightened enough to prevent leaks...

    Troubled waters

Big difference from the 1st picture. This tank is coming along rather nicely, good job!

    CO2 reactor built and connected

I put in a plastic one. I ordered a 6-pack from Dr Foster and Smith aquatics. The reviews I read said it would do good for 6 months to a year. I made an Outlook reminder for 6 months, they are cheap and I'd rather replace them before they wear out.
