What do I feed my Red-tailed black Shark?

I have a red tail black shark in a 55 gallon setup. I've noticed e is much more active at night and roots around the gravel looking for bits of food. Maybe yours is doing the same thing, try watching at ight with the lights off.

    My Pond

I wish I could get my 700 gallon pond, that I installed in May of 2002, to look that good. The dry summer was a huge problem for me. I am not that good with outdoor plant selection either.

    Tank set up tips

In my opinion most additives are a waste. The PH fluctuation by adding these things will do more harm than good. One thing I have done in the past that seemed to have moderate success is adding peat moss to your filter if you have that ability. But its probably best to just leave it alone...

    Thinking about piranha...

I have done the red bellied pirahna thing. At first they are rather intriguing, at least when the are small and by that I mean about 1 inch in diameter. Its interesting to watch the pirahna eat a goldfish which is about twice their size. Then they start to grow, and before you know it they...

    ClownLoach Question ???

In the past I have kept clown loaches with this same group of fish, minus the gouramis, and have not had any noticeable problems. I think the conventional wisdom on this arrangement is that the clown loach is nocturnal and can disrupt the "sleeping" habits of the rest of the community. Also...
