    Plant I.D.

    Does anyone know what species of hair grass this is? Its growing in a flooded field that's now drying up. Here's sum that's still in the water. This patch has been out of the water for several weeks now, and are now going to seed. And as a bonus what are these stem plants?

    That is some kind of loach, maybe a Botia histrionica or Botia almorhae.

    No its not, I'm assuming that your answering for the fish on the preceding page. That fish is a type of saltwater goby by the name of Bryaninops natans. The fish in question now is the red one above.

    No its not a squirrelfish, but it does stay mostly along the bottom. Also its the only known species in its genus.
