    Does anyone know what species of hair grass this is? Its growing in a flooded field that's now drying up. Here's sum that's still in the water. This patch has been out of the water for several weeks now, and are now going to seed. And as a bonus what are these stem plants?

    No its not, I'm assuming that your answering for the fish on the preceding page. That fish is a type of saltwater goby by the name of Bryaninops natans. The fish in question now is the red one above.

    Well looking at the photos the plants look a lot like terrestrial grass. You said you found them in a creek, were they found close to shore or farther out and has that water shed been getting some rain lately?
