No recall, but they were slow to get new kits out. Bought one the other day after waiting a week. Got tired of walking it up and down stairs from my kids room to our 56 gallon.

I know, I know. Will keep doing water changes.

Knew it was too good to be true. Nitrates shot back up to 40 ppm. Did a 20% water change. Cycling goes on.

I got a 56 gallon tall tank. Granted, I cannot keep as many mbuna as the next guy, but have not had an issue with getting into it. Granted, I am 6'4" so reach is not an issue. It fits my space and I am happy with it thusfar.

Figured I would go two more days before adding a couple of fish, just to make sure. Figured three cardinal tetras would not send it overboard.

Well, without testing it every 5 minutes it is kind of difficult. IN the morning it was .5 and went to 1.0 during the day. Did a water change as soon as that and high nitrate levels were found. Good news is that as of this morning, ammonia and nitrites are at 0 and nitrates are at 20 ppm.
