I would like to purchase some pineapple swordtails for my community tank. I would like both sexes or a number of fry to give me a good chance for both sexes. Price with USPS priority mail shipping to 83404 should be included.
Thanks!
My wife will be in Eagan the last weekend in Apr. (and flying home on Monday may 2). Would it be possible for you and her to get together monday morning for her to get 15 to bring back to Idaho? She will have to be at the airport about 9:30 am.
Starting to get red tint to water after three days but bigger problems....
Now I am really confused!! My guppy has gone from just having a white saddle to being deformrd. She is bowed to the right and seems she can barely swim. I am getting ready toi euthanize her but am really worried that...
The water is still clear but directions say do a 20% PWC before next daily dose.
I have been looking for bullying but just seems to be only more attempted sexual activity on the part of the males (but it seems she has a headach). She seems to be more active this evening and maybe the...
I have a female guppy that has a large white patch of white mold looking stuff on her back just in front of her dorsal fin. This a solid white patch that extends from almost the bottom on the left side across her back and over half way down the right side. It is over 1/4" wide.

Coordinating with a storm front should be the easy part! I live in S.E. Idaho and we are getting wave after wave of snow! LOL!. Got any good info on best live and frozen food to use?
Thanks for the reply!
I purchased what is supposed to be a breeding colony of six bronze corys a couple of weeks ago and have read all I can find on how to breed them.
My questions are:
1. How long should they be aclimated to new surroundings before trying to stimulate rains by dropping temperature using PWC or ice...
It was part of my "old school" mentality. I thought it would be better than city tap water since I would be adding so much. I had never heard of weekly water changes! You can teach an o0ld dog new tricks I guess. I sure seem to be learning a lot of them.
I have a pair of pineapple swords in my 26 gal bowfront. The female seems to be doing a slower version of the twist (that's a dance for all you youngsters) when she is not swimming. Her whole body just waves back and forth from head to tale as she hovers in the water. She swims fine and eats...
Thanks for the feedback. As I said earlier I don't have a problem yet but this gave me an excuse!! I just sent payment through Aquabid for 4 Corona, 3 Zebra and 3 Ruby nerites.
As I said in first post-I don't have nor anticipate an algae problem. I am just doing what you said and trying to stay ahead of the game.
Thanks to all for the input!
I read that my pygmy panda corys will not eat algae. Correct? That is the only scavenger in my tanks except for a red tailed shark.
I do not have an algae problem in my tanks but would still like to know if there is a scavenger fish for a community tank that would also eat algae and not eat...
