Yea understand. I do a 5 gal change once a week so i should be ok. Hopefully i can find these fish local as I don't have many choices for lfs. Most are salt water driven as well and don't carry much fw stock.

Alright angelfish sounds good. I was considering them but leaned toward the Africans for the colors. Will the angles be ok with the barbs and would a Cory cat be able to live with them? Do angle fish mate easily? And should i get two females and one male?

How bad are nerite snails on live plants?

So after about a week and a half with a 15% change, willow branches, and purchase of a water wisteria plant and moss ball, the water has cleared up the green for the most part. Tank is just a little cloudy right now though.

I'm dealing with the same problem, could you give some suggestions as the which plants? I added a moss ball and a water wisteria to my tank but wonder if there's something better I should be using.
