Does the amount of decor and plants have any effect on the stocking levels?

I have been trying to read up more on stocking levels, and there just seems to be a lot of conflicting information. I resorted to using Aqadvisor but then I've read that it is VERY conservative in its estimations... There doesn't seem to be a concrete answer...how many fish can be in my tank...

Its a 75 gallon, been up a couple months now. I think he was one of my newer Oto's so he's only been in there 2 weeks; he was smaller than my others. Not sure what you mean by treating them?

Thought I'd update again. One of the glass cats is out and about pretty much all the time, it's a very interesting fish, just does his own thing...I wish I could say the same for the rest. They are still constantly in hiding. It's weird that one is so bold when the rest are so lame. Lol
