I just read the Quaratine article and it mentioned that you need extra aeration when using a sponge filter. I have a Hydro 1 in a 10 gallon with 1 adult molly and 26 fry. Should I have additional aeration? I have an airstone..would that be good? Thanks!

Thanks gheitman! I have never used a pump before and I have a question: How do you attach more than one thing (sponge filter, bubble wand, etc.) to a pump? Some pumps say it has one outlet and other 2 outlets.....is an outlet where you put the airline tubing into the pump?! I'm so confused...

Pufferpunk, I'm confused! You mentioned that marine salt would be good for mollies and aquarium salt for livebearers....does that mean you wouldn't recommend marine salt for a tank that would have both mollies and platies? Thanks!
