DIY co2 + flipper = white growth on the flipper bottom

Well, that is exactly what i am worry of - wasting another time to build separator with no real help. The problem of 5 day cleaning is however, that after its clean, it takes another 24 hours to 'estabilish' so small bubbles go separately, not one big bubble. And 5 days is still not that bad, it...

DIY co2 + flipper = white growth on the flipper bottom

Check Valve you mean like the one which prevents water going back to bottle ? And that gunk chamber, shouldn't be some water there and co2 buble up through water ? Because if it gets out of first bottle by air, maybe it will get also through 2nd air. I think its some vapors from the...

    DIY CO2 help!

This looks to me like you have some leaks there. It would logically explain, what's happening. The things have to be 100% sealed, otherwise it will not work. Also depends from airline tubing used. They sell special one for CO2. 1 - True 2 - I think enough its if sugar is dissolved, you don't...

I observe something like whirling disease symptoms on some of my sowrdtails: - Swimming in circle - Turning the head from side to side staying on same place - Hiding, staying often on the bottom, not eating well - Development is slow. Fish can live even 1 month after observing first symptoms. I...

DIY coil denitrator output test showin extreme high NO3 and NO2

I did in the tank at first, but soon moved it in another small tank with an old tank water. Why should I use heater ? I currently don't use it even in main tank. Yea, that sounds logical, but thing is, that output has also extreme high NO2. That indicates, that some anaerobic process also...

Hi guys, several days ago i made coil denitrator from a PET bottle with about 40 ft of airilne tubing classic size used in aquariums. As i didn't find BIO balls in shop, i just filled it with FLUVAL cottonwool which should as well serve as BIO media. I tested today the output of denitrator...
