I have a tank with a mature convict and young Jack dempsey and green terror -- would it be safe to put a couple of snails in with them?
Another tank has 2 South African chiclids in--what about with them?
I have 2 kuhli loaches--but you very rarely see them becasue they are always under something.
The only fish that I am not familiar with is the rainbow shark(if they would 'eat' your otos) but get the otos if you want something for algea control.
I would get otos again but I have a raphael...
just a quick comment -- I have 2 clown loaches-- and when the are 'resting' or laying on their side looking like they are dead==I said 'they are faking me out'
I also recently invested in 2 kuhli loaches & 2 do jo loaches. My married daughter wonders why I want to buy fish that look like worms!!
I have a 30-gal & 40-gal tank that I would like to clean algea from this summer. This is 'green stuff' that I can not get off the glass now.
The 30-gal has a male & female(non mating) convict chiclid & has small gravel. The other tank has a male convict & a blue(vertical stripe) chiclid with...
I read the link & the picture sure does look like what I seen today. I would think the irredisent shark or the striped raphael would be more inclined to eat the flounder.
I have a 55-gal freshwater with the following:
2-pictus cats
1 bala shark
1 irredisent shark
1 spotted raphael catfish
1 striped raphael catfish
4 rasboras
8 tetras
1 white corycat
1 algae eater
2 clown loaches
Could I add 2 angelfish to this mixture? I also seen this 'intriguing' flounder...
I must have 'strange' pictus cats--mine have never hide. I have 2 that are 2-yrs old. The only fish that hide 'big time' are the striped & spotted raphaels. The raphaels get very 'hyper' when you move their hiding place
