so i can leave the intake from the skimmer just open in the first section of the sump correct like this

I think i am going to go with the two returns then Im gonna go to the lfs tommarow so i will look at the skimmers to get a better idea of how they can pump out the water to then next section of the sump thanks for your replys very helpful

thanks for the replys i fixed the baffels and the drain in the pic above.So for the return your saying i should only have 1 return pipe will that be enough for this size of a tank i only have a 60g now so i dont know much about tanks this big.as for the skimmer i thought it would just return in...
