In a related post, I saw someone say that shrimp are good at cleaning up fish waste, and I was wondering if it'd be bad idea to drop like 20-30 ghost shrimnp in my 30 gallon, and let them scrounge around? Thanks!

see the thing is though EXM, I have a 30g tank, and the pleco will outgrow it sooner than later, and Id rather get him to a better home before its too late. I really dont have any algae either, the tank is a little over a month old...thanks for the help!

too bad, i kinda liked the way the loaches looked. ANyone have experience with dojos? It looks like ill be getting a few otos or corys...

Ok, so...its down to either a dojo loach, a few more corys, or a few otos? Would otos get along with corys, which are basically the only other bottom dwellers except for the rainbow sharks, which are peaceful and not aggressive.

would it be ok to just dump in like 25 into a 30 gallon tank? Only think I would worry about is having the fish overfeed...any suggestions?

I added about 5 to the tank. It has been downright comical watching the fish. The angel will try to go after the small ones, as will the Danios. They are relentless, but the shrimp just scoot out of the way of the "attackers". The angels have actually been scouring the bottom and holes...

What reason do you give for taking the rainbow sharks out? They get along fine with all the fish, and if anything stay in caves most of the day, making me think they are nocturnal.
