Hi I have just noticed these tonight. They are on several rocks and are no bigger than a quarter to half inch. I have no clue as to what they are. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. It's so fascinating seeing what appears on the rock each day. The upper most rock sits in a pocket on the other rocks, and is in fact leaning against the back glass. I had it all freestanding at one point, but have since leaned the top rock back for safety reasons.

Hello In trying to get rid of the previously mentioned white silky strings, is it a good idea to take out and clean my LR again? Would I be doing more harm than good to anything that may be establishing itself in the rock?
