After trimming some of my chaeto in my sump this guy appeared on the glass. Anyone know what this is?

If you're going overflow HOB I use an Eshopps PF-300 and a Rio+ 1100 (I think that's the model) keeps sump at a good level with good flow through my redugium

Might be an abalone (sp) had one as a hitchhiker puffed a small cloud while traveling around the tank. Never knew what the cloud was, kinda cool though

That was my thought too... But I know plants on land have chemical defenses that stop competition for resources
