Tap water is 7.6 and my tank is 8.4 ph. Tank water is also Ammonia .25, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0. Tap water is Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0. Nothing changed except not dosing stability completed 8 day dosage and only adding prime every other day as per instructions ....

Absolutely driftwood is crucial to digestion. System of plecos. Not worry at least now you have some knowledge as to whenever you get a pleco what is needed. Truley sorry about your loss...

Oh I see how far is lights from dock... 80 is not bad but since I assume its a adult I would stay 78 and keep light approx.. 12 to 18inch from dock you should be fine remember lights 12hrs on 12hrs off
