I bought a 48" t5 from aquaticlife but not sure where they packaged the frame mounts, I think they may have been inside the fixture. But if they didn't come with it call aquaticlife up they will send them out to you no problem. There customer support is great and it should be for how much they...
I am treating my 29 gallon QT tank with copper for my hippo tang that has ich. My ammonia keeps jumping up I guess because of the copper killing the bacteria, I was wondering if there was a treatment to keep the ammonia down. I do 5 gallon water changes everyday and all the rest of my levels...
Get GFO from bulk reef and if you have a sump get some chaeto morpha algae that will soak up those nitrates and phosphates. (this is for saltwater, not sure about fresh)
I was wondering if it was safe to order fish from vivid. I want a hippo tang and I am frightened of getting one because I hear they are so prone to ick. I already have a blue eye Kole and a yellow tang, but the hippo is my favorite fish and I have been waiting to get one.
I know someone that has a blue hippo in a 120 gallon for almost twenty years and he's only around 10 or so inches so a hippo would be fine in a 125 gallon tank
I setup a quarantine tank today and was wondering how do you keep the bacteria alive in the tank if you leave it running with no fish in it. I set it up for my tang but cant catch him so now there's no fish in there.
You'll have to rinse those bioballs everyfew days to help with keeping those nitrates down. I don't think the nitrates killed him but it sure didn't help. Sorry for the lose
You can try Praxipro. Its more for worms but try it and you can treat it in your main ndisplay tank. I just treated my yellow tang with it for yellow tang disease, seems to be working and I have inverts and everything in my tank included feather dusters and everything is doing fine. Just...

I have a yellow tang that I think has black ick (yellow tang disease). I want to quarintine him but I don't have a tank setup and I am not sure how to set one up. I have been reading about it, but I am not sure how I get the tank the same conditions as mine quick.. Do I use my water? What...
