Are you saying you have a 15 gallon? You can put cichlids in a 15 gallon yea, but you will need a larger tank soon. They're aggressive fish who need a lot of hiding places. I would start more in the 40 gallon range, you'll be happier with the outcome

About 2-3 days ago I did a water change to reduce ammonia. My ammonia levels dropped to safe according to the in tank monitor for a while, but now they're back up again. How offer can I do a 10 gallon water change on my 55 gallon tank? Everyday? Every other day? My ammonia levels are high :/

Yeah I usually do 25%, I'll try doing that twice a week for a while and get a test kit and see what I can do, hopefully no fish die, I have the cichlid salts and buffer max in there, I was gonna use proper ph 8.2 by API but I'm not to sure how to use it
