so topping off dont mix with salt but if doing a partial water change you would mix the RO with salt?

Ok, now I am totally confused. First I read not to use salt water to top off the tank and then I read where you add salt to the RO water before adding to tank. You need to add salt to the RO water before adding? thanks again:confused:
