I have a 20 gallon cycled with 20 pound bag already in. I bought another bag. My question is, do I have to rinse the substrate since my tank is already cycled, or is it fine just adding straight to tank?

I am pretty sure it is a pleco, but I need specifics. I am trying to stock my gf's works 26 gallon tank. She said this fish has been in there for over 2 years and he is only 4 inches. I thought a 3 year old pleco would be over 12".
For the most part he is doing ok, he does flare up at the neons once in a while and darts to break up my 2 schools. The corys he ignores, and he gets uncomfortably close to the shrimp but does nothing. I have him roaming the tank with the platy in the isolation. She is moving to a new home...

I had a dwarf gourami, and I loved his colors, but I am thinking of getting something else.
