I would suggest 88F. Up your aeration as the O2 levels in warm water are much lower.

I agree if they are active and growing they are eating. Some supplemental veggies would be a good idea.

Opaline gouramis can be very aggressive. What you are seeing is not usual. They are realted to bettas, I am surprised they are not beating each other up.

The lucky bamboo is not an aquatic plant. It needs its leaves above the water line. Cycling with plants is fine.

Two angels will do fine in a 36 as long as they like each other. If they don't you will need to rehome one of them.

That is way to long for a non planted tank, try only 5 - 8 hours a day. For the present I would leave the lights off until the algae stops growing.

You can try removing as much as possible and the blacking out the tank for 3 days. Is the the tank planted? How long are your lights on?
