Have 3 black longfin tetra and all three have lost their signature "skirt" they have two black lines but the rest of the body is the more grey color. I recently had to quarantine 3 neon tetra for what I believe is neon tetra disease, could this be the problem?

Hello I recently rescued a Betta and he was regrowing his fins and everything but now he just lays on the bottom of the tank and his fins are looking quite unhealthy I test his water daily and do water changes if anything is over .5 ppm.
Im looking to add plants to my tank tomorrow and just realized my gravel is only about a half inch deep.. How deep should gravel be for plants like water sprite or java fern? And can I add gravel straight from the bag to my tank? Without taking my fish out?

The Boesemani Rainbow is a pretty fish. And it all depends on if the fish nip at the angels long flowing fins. Angels themselves are completely different one fish to the other they have their own unique personalities.
