I noticed yesterday my black brittle star lost a leg, is that normal? should i worry> hes been acting normal, that i can tell. I THOUGHT MAYBE MY BIG hermit crab may of tried to get him. I read bob fenners pages on brittles, and they said sometimes that happens.

i checked that, can i grease the tips with something?

hopefully my sis remembers,at the time it was only alittle over half an inch ,all red, and i never saw it swim, it just kinda would sit on the rock, almost like sitting in a chair then would kinda waddle around if that makes sense,I went to the docs office with my sis just to look at the tank...

We got a battery operated pump, fed the fishes before hand, and took all advice we recieved from here,and everything went smooth concerning the tank. Still alot of power off in surrounding towns ,were the only town with gas, from here to houston, and here to austin,Im worried about my fish...
