my tank is away from any direct sunlight I like it this way because it keeps away green alge completely I have found, so they just get bulb light. Do you think in these conditions LED's are still suitable? Also do you think its ok to do this please?

Yes you so right there I do have some java fern in front but only coes up to 1/4 height. hopefuly it willo grow a bit in time.
