I have the 24" 48W fixture over my 29 and I find it works great for the price, extremely bright and is able to grow my mostly simple plants well. (Swords,Ludgwigia, and cabomba) I recommend them for the pricepoint they're at
So this is my first batch of plants a mix from petsmart and big als for under 14 dollars :D So I believe I have 1 stem of jungle val slightly melted but will hopefull recover, came with one runner, 2 stems of green cabomba I think, 3 stems of sword not sure which variety, and 6 stems of an...
As the title says could I use this type of clay under the roots of my sword cabomba and other rooted plants? Otherwise what type of clay should I use and where would I find it? I live in Canada btw :)
Thanks for the stocking I wanted lots of activity but the calm angel and rams to tie the tank together :) would there be any problems planting this tank?
Would this stocking be fine with a 72 gallon bowfront? Because my desk isn't quite 18 inches wide and the tank is 16 at the widest part so I may have found my perfect tank :) but I saw denison barbs are very expensive :$ I don't know if I have 240$ to spend on 6 fish lol
I know it would be slightly overstocked 2% according to aqadvisor but what do you think of
-15 Rummynose Tetra
-15 cardinal tetra
-2 german blue ram
-2 apistos
-1angel
-10 cory
I might skip the cories though due to cost :$ would all these species be ok with plants? any suggestions for...
Alternate option 75 gallon with one large cichlid and a school of 10-20 tiger barbs but do you know of any large cichlid jack dempsey, green terror, oscar etc that will be fine with plants?
I was thinking but give me your opinions on it :)
10-15 Rummynose
10-15 Cardinal or emperor
Pair of german blue rams
and maybe an angel what do you think?
From what I researched no matter what the tank is out on only the edges will touch the flat surface there is always an air pocket for support so manufacturers simply cut costs I guess by not having to fill out an entire metal stand. One more question would placing like that thick pink foam under...
Aha is there any way to test it? Like what about me and my dad both sitting on the desk along with my 29 gallon? Just for an estimate? Aha :p do you know of any aquarium 48 inches long and like 16 inches wide? Cause my desk is juuuuust short of 18 inches and as far as the desk to my testing so...
