My java moss in my aquarium grows much slower than that in my terrariums, mind you the light is slightly less and water a greater depth. I havent' updated my gallers of my frog terrariums but I have a 46 bowfront who's whole front water section is covered in java moss and is grown terrestrially...

I had this happen when I actually had weaker lights on my hood. It was from hard water or calcium deposists which then harbored the algaes, way hard to get rid of. But after scraping off all the old stuff and more powerful lights it actually went away..kinda wierd

Just went to the LFS and picked up some new plants. Saw the badis badis, they were pretty small about 3/4 of an inch, not too bright colours, looked different from the pics but they were pretty cool. Might get some of those next weekend if my tank is good by then!
